1. Does your custom-made jewelry meet the international 925 silver content standard?
Yes. We guarantee that the silver content must be more than 92.5%, fully meeting international standards. If the test content is insufficient, we will accept the return and refund.
2. Can you customize semi-finished products?
Yes. Our ODM is completely customized according to your requirements; we can do whatever steps you say. But our professional advice is to ship the finished product directly. This is because due to the different process equipment of various manufacturers, there are certain risks in the secondary processing of semi-finished products, and it is difficult to define whether the problem is the responsibility. Of course, to avoid quality dispute, it is recommended that you must do the acceptance at each stage, ensure that you know the status of each step if you do want semi-finished products only.
3. Can you customize products according to the gemstones we provide?
Yes. The stone supply from customers is supported. 6. Why MOQ need to be 30 pcs?
This is determined by the production efficiency. Every time we replace products for production, we need to replace the corresponding materials and tools. 7. How long does your plating last?
First, there are mainly two types of jewelry fading. One is that the electroplating layer on the surface is worn away, revealing the base color, which looks like discoloration. This is the fading in physical nature. The other is the oxidation of the surface electroplating layer. , which is a fading in chemical nature.
For physical fading, we can increase plating thickness. And try to avoid collision and friction when wearing.
For chemical fading, we can improve plating process, especially the protection process. And try to avoid exposing to chemicals for long time. Be careful to cleaning and sealing.
Different plating color last different time. Rhodium plating usually is very stable and will not oxidize and discolor under normal circumstances.
For 18k yellow gold plating (75% gold, 25% copper, silver, zinc, etc.) and rose gold plating (75% gold, 22.5% copper, 2.75% silver etc.), because copper and silver element are relatively active, it is easy to oxidize and turn black, according to the copper content , rose gold is more easily oxidized and blackened than K gold. Generally color can keep 6 months for K gold and 3 months for rose gold. But we can also increase plating lasting time by above ways mentioned.
8. What is a special point in our electroplating protection process?
To increase lasting time of k gold and rose gold electroplating, we recommend adding E-coating after electroplating. E-coating can effectively isolate the reaction between copper/silver and oxygen, to maintain the color for a long time. Our E-coating is colorless and odorless. It is covered on the surface of jewelry by electroplating process, and then baked at high temperature to form an extremely thin layer of glue paint. The E-coating process is very mature and widely used in the field of electroplating protection.
9. What are the advantages and disadvantages of thick gold plating and ordinary plating?
Thick gold plating is to make the plating layer on the surface thicker, to achieve the purpose of wear resistance.
